Aaron Michael always had a passion for fashion, which was nourished by his grandparents who raised him after the loss of his mother.  He started by designing for drag queens, regional theater actors, and Rupaul's Drag Race contestants. His unique style caught the attention of pageant winners, and he soon began designing for them as well. In 2017, Aaron launched his first label, Aaron Michael. The following year he opened the Aaron Michael Costume Shoppe. These two labels are his primary focus, and he continues producing unique and stylish designs.

Aaron appeared on Season 19 of Project Runway.
